Advanced Manufacturing Technologies

This course is run in collaboration with the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), a world-class centre for advanced machining and materials research. It covers the latest advances in manufacturing technology. Subject areas include: work holding, measurement and assembly, materials science solutions, and novel manufacturing techniques and processes. You'll also learn about the management of manufacturing innovation, from identifying products and processes through to integration.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 in mechanical engineering or a related subject. Applicants with qualifications in other science/engineering subjects such as maths or physics, or relevant professional experience, are encouraged to apply. English language requirements. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require an overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, or equivalent.
