Professional Practice

The course provides students with the opportunity to develop in depth knowledge of an area of chosen legal interest. It encourages students to challenge current intellectual thinking whilst developing an advanced knowledge and ability to analyse their selected specialist area of law directly.

Entry requirements

LLM: Applicants should have successfully completed either the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC)(formally known as The Bar Vocational Course (BVC) of England and Wales.

Course modules

The module consists of the study of research methods followed by the completion of a dissertation on a topic of the students choice as agreed with the module leader.

Dissertation.
