Programme and Project Management

Students on this course have the opportunity to work in a range of study facilities to develop practical skills and understand the link between the theory and practical implementation of projects and programmes, with a deep understanding of benefits and risks.

Entry requirements

A Lower 2nd Honours degree or equivalent is required for direct entry onto the Master's programme. Students applying for individual modules will be required to demonstrate the ability to absorb rapidly technical concepts and detail, possibly by dint of their previous industrial or commercial experience. Students are selected using application form and references in the 1st instance and then usually interviewed. English competency is the standard MSc entry of 6.0.

Course modules

Financial management of projects; project management; programme management; leading transformation and change; legal obligations; research methods and professional skills; dissertation.

Assessment methods

Dissertation.
