The Guardian UK 300: top hospitality, leisure and tourism employers

…as voted for by students and graduates

The Guardian UK 300 is the largest and most comprehensive annual survey of student opinion on graduate careers and employers. The survey determines not only the most popular 300 graduate employers in the UK overall, but also the most popular graduate employers in a range of career sectors, including media and advertising.

The top graduate employers for hospitality are listed in the table below.` Marriott International rose from third place to first this year, newly topping our chart, while the previous top employer, Hilton International, dropped one place to second. Newly entering the hospitality rankings this year is Radisson Edwardian, taking tenth place.

Students interested in hospitality…

  • mostly had related work experience, at 77%
  • never agreed with the statement: ‘If the salary was right, I’d work for a company with a bad image’
  • were mostly eligible to receive means-tested funding, at 62%.*
