The Guardian UK 300: top property employers

…as voted for by students and graduates

The Guardian UK 300 features the largest and most comprehensive annual survey of student opinion on graduate careers, employers and their own job hunts. The survey determines not only the most popular 300 graduate employers in the UK overall, but also the most popular graduate employers in a range of career sectors, including property.

The top graduate employers for property are listed in the table below. The top three property employers (Savills, Knight Frank, BNP Paribas Real Estate) have not changed position since last year’s survey, but Strutt & Parker are a new entrant to the top ten at position four.

Students interested in property careers…

  • expected a salary of £27,574, which is higher than many of the typical graduate salaries in property, according to the data collected by TARGETjobs
  • tended to agree with the statement ‘It will be tough toget a job in 2017’ (74%)
  • were less likely to use LinkedIn for careers purposes than students interested in other sectors, with a relatively low 55% saying they did compared to 78% across all sectors.*

*Statistics have been rounded.

Over 62,000 undergraduates took part in the trendence Graduate Study 2017, which formed the basis of the results in The Guardian UK 300.
