The Guardian UK 300: top property employers
…as voted for by students and graduates
The Guardian UK 300 is the largest and most comprehensive annual survey of student opinion on graduate careers and employers. The survey determines not only the most popular 300 graduate employers in the UK overall, but also the most popular graduate employers in a range of career sectors, including property.
The top graduate employers for the property sector are listed in the table below. The top three employers remain the same as last year: Savills, Knight Frank and BNP Paribas Real Estate. Positions four to seven have all risen since last year (Grosvenor, JLL, Countryside Properties and Cushman & Wakefield) and British Land, Lambert Smith Hampton and Allsop each entered the property top ten this year in eighth, ninth and tenth place respectively.
Students interested in the property sector…
- were most commonly studying architecture, building and planning; law; and geography and environmental science
- had worked, studied and/or volunteered in a foreign country in 29% of cases
- expected to earn on average £31,855.*
