"I would say it's average in the consulting industry. You have late days and early days, it just depends on what the project needs. You may need to stay until midnight for a few nights (this didn't happen often for me) but then some days you'll leave by 5.00 pm."

"Hours vary depending on the project and can get quite long."

"Hours can be unpredictable during the week but most Fridays I finish by 6.00 pm at the latest and weekends are protected."

"Work hard Monday to Friday. The weekends are fully protected."
Intern, London
"Work hours are quite unpredictable and can be long depending on your project, which seems standard for the industry. If you end up being double staffed (uncommon on an internship) then they can be quite intense."
Intern, London
"Working hours were long yet reasonable (between 50 – 60 hours a week). Weekends were kept free throughout the internship."
Intern, London

"The hours are different between busy times and non-busy times. When you are busy you can find yourself working from 9:00am to midnight. When you are not busy hours will be more along the lines of 9:00am-6:00pm."
Intern, London
"The hours you work depends on case you are on. They can be good for one, but worse for another. In general though, hours can be long."
Intern, London
"On average, throughout my internship I have worked from 9:00am to 8:00pm."
Consulting, Intern, London
"I worked 50 hours a week on average. Full-time employees work more since they work on two cases simultaneously, but interns are only expected to work on one case at a time."
