Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to work for the business within the Finance Team. We are looking for candidates with a core interest in understanding all the elements of Finance. If you have the essential skills and passion, we want to hear from you!

The 1-year placement programme will begin with a business induction, introducing you to our
core values and strategic goals. We’ll then develop your capability and confidence, teaching you the requirements to be an expert within our space.

Finance

To understand and support the Group Accounting Function to ensure all internal and external
reporting is prepared on time and of a high quality. Working with the Group accounting team:

  • Produce information to support management accounts preparation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working with colleagues across the Finance team, support production of revenue, property transactions, month end and other ad hoc journals.
  • Support maintenance of Group Accounting policies and procedures.
  • Supporting the Group Accounting team in the accounting for acquisitions.
  • Support the annual valuation process and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people at all levels.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • The ability to deal with issues in a discrete and confidential manner.
  • The ability to work both cooperatively as a team and independently on own initiative.
  • Excellent IT skills and working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages.
  • Full Valid UK Driving license (not essential but can make travel to our sites easier).
