We have an exceptional Graduate opportunity with Richardson International, a leading global force in agriculture and food processing. This opportunity is within their Anglia malting and ingredients subsidiaries in the UK.

Within the UK malting and ingredients arm of Richardson International are Crisp Maltings and EDME Ingredients. We are supporting Crisp Maltings and EDME Ingredients, to welcome 3 driven Graduates to join their ranks.

Crisp Maltings, who have 4 sites across the UK and 2 in Europe with the head office in Great Ryburgh, serve award-winning brewers and distillers internationally by offering a wide array of malts that cater to diverse tastes and end products. As a business they boast a 150 year heritage and are in the top 10 for both the World and Europe for capacity sales.

Meanwhile EDME Ingredients, who are based in Mistley, also boast a 150 year heritage and specialise in crafting a mixture of wholesome components such as flours, flakes and kibbles for manufacturers across some of the biggest names in the bakery sector and wider food manufacturing industry across the UK and Internationally.

The group hold a rich heritage spanning over 160 years and stand as Canada's foremost agribusiness. They pride themselves on their expansive team of over 3,000 employees situated across more than 100 locations across the world including the United States and United Kingdom. With the support and investment from the group, both Crisp and EDME look to continue their growth and are keen to scale their operational footprint.

As part of the comprehensive 3-year program, successful applicants will:

  • Develop exceptional operational management skills including team leadership, work procedures, documentation, audit leading and preparation.
  • Gain skills in leading and delivering capital and continuous improvement projects.
  • Support and learn about all operational aspects of the business including manufacturing, laboratories, engineering and supply chain.
  • Attain a wealth of professional qualifications which could include NEBOSH, ILM and six sigma amongst others.

To be successful, candidates should:

  • Possess a degree with a minimum grade of 2.2, preferably in Food Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field, obtained within the last 2 years.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.
  • Show a willingness to tackle challenges.
  • Have the ability to see the broader picture.
  • Be capable of quickly assimilating new information.
  • Exhibit strong organisational skills and a data-driven approach.
  • Be willing to travel to a variety of the manufacturing sites within the business as required.

They are offering the successful candidate a salary of circa £28,000. In addition to this they are offering a bonus scheme and relocation support if required.
