About John Parkin

John is an academic employability consultant at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. In this position, he works with lecturers and external organisations to create and deliver work-related learning in degree courses. Before this role, John was a senior lecturer practitioner in education and course director of the BA Primary Education Studies programme. Before moving into higher education, John was a primary school teacher for 17 years and spent most of his career teaching Reception-aged children.
