About Kate Robertson
Kate is a Senior Careers and Employability Adviser at the University of Aberdeen, working with students from the Schools of Law and Education plus anyone interested in a career in teaching. She also leads on communications, marketing, information and systems for the Service. As a qualified teacher, education and training is her passion and she has a particular interest in e-learning and using technology to deliver careers education, information, and guidance as well as to develop and streamline co-curricular and employability initiatives. Kate is an associate fellow of Advance HE and joined the AGCAS Teaching and Related Professions Task Group in 2024. She also sits on the AGCAS Scotland Education advisers’ group and the AGCAS Scotland Professional Development Group as well as being an AGCAS trainer. She is currently working towards an MA in Careers Education and Information Guidance in Higher Education at the University of Warwick. Outside of work Kate is kept busy by her two children and her love of running marathons!
