About Olivia Rowland

Olivia is a writer and editor who, a long time ago, trained as a journalist. Since then she has worked on books, magazines, websites, newspapers, training materials, online courses and social media. Assignments have ranged from reviewing opera in French chateaux to subediting the Sydney Morning Herald .

Alongside this, Olivia has worked as a learning designer for organisations in the UK and New Zealand. In rare moments of downtime, she completed a masters in education and linguistics with the Open University. Notable non-work achievements include singing backing vocals for Josh Groban, appearing on Dancing on Ice and completing 5km of ice swims.
