Much of what we do is behind the scenes, but it is mission-critical work with widespread impact. Our systems process 20 bookings every single second and board over 5 million passengers each day. From booking a hotel, flight or cruise right up to airport check-in, we are shaping the future of travel.
Research & Development, Heathrow office of Amadeus
We’re good at what we do here in Research & Development, and we should be. Amadeus invested nearly €900 million in the R&D function in 2018 alone, making us the number one investor in R&D in the travel sector worldwide. We are passionate about creating innovative travel technology, enabling smoother and more enjoyable travel. We’ve been doing it for over 30 years, and we’re just getting started. Innovating; accelerating; working with customers and partners to power better, more rewarding journeys - leading the industry forward!
In 2018, we relocated to our brand new, state-of-the-art R&D Centre along the Heathrow Airport perimeter. We’re based right in the heart of the travel community we serve, meaning you’ll get to see the impact that your work has, every day.
