About Houlihan Lokey

Be part of the investment bank with a different perspective.

At Houlihan Lokey, we aren’t the typical investment bank. Nor do we set out to be. Since day one, we have forged our own path, and we will continue doing so. We blazed a trail with our Financial Restructuring practice – first in North America, and then in Europe and Asia. Today, we are one of few boutique firms with a truly global presence and a diversified market coverage.

Now, while others are downsizing or simply staying the course, we are building for the future. Our Corporate Finance and Financial and Valuation Advisory businesses are expanding rapidly around the world, both through acquisitions and organic growth. It means we can offer our graduates and interns something unique: room to grow and create. As a Houlihan Lokey Analyst or Associate, you will be joining an entrepreneurial, resourceful culture where you’ll have an opportunity to make your mark and forge the career you really want.

Because our focus is on the future, we welcome individuals from all locations and backgrounds. Our primary concern isn’t what or where you studied; it’s whether you have the ability to learn our business, and the passion, hunger, and curiosity needed to succeed in our industry.

Diverse operations, diverse thinking

The work we do at Houlihan Lokey is diverse, challenging, and far-reaching. The core areas of our business include:

Corporate Finance

Our Corporate Finance business advises clients on mergers and acquisitions and assists companies in raising private debt and equity capital, with a focus on the mid-market. As a ‘high-volume’ firm, we are able to offer our Financial Analysts and Associates real-life, hands-on transactional experience from the get-go. More deals, greater exposure.

Financial Restructuring

Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring practice is regarded as the best in the business, advising creditors and debtors in bankruptcy proceedings as well as distressed mergers and acquisitions. It's a complex and often challenging arena but, for a junior banker, there are few better training grounds.

Financial and Valuation Advisory

Financial and Valuation Advisory is a key business area, performing valuations and advising stakeholders on a wide range of critical issues. It's a field where relationships matter, and where you’ll interact with leading individuals across a broad spectrum of industries.
