Green Initiatives

6.5 / 10

(based on 23 ratings in 2019)

"There are sustainability champions and green campaigns."
Graduate, Bristol
"I think there's good commitment including recycling bins and signs reminding people to avoid unnecessary printing."
Graduate, Woking
"I know that there is a corporate social responsibility team in London, but I don't feel like there is much emphasis passed over to other offices. Even with the CSR team in London, I believe they are one individual team and only new to the company. I think there could and should be more responsibility put on market leaders such as Marsh to make proactive strides in the right direction in terms of carbon neutrality. Marsh has the resources to not only be a global leader in insurance brokerage, but also be a leader in terms of positive climate initiatives."
Graduate, Belfast
"Mercer works a lot on ESG initiatives and has integrated such commitments into its own corporate philosophy."
Graduate, Edinburgh
"Initiatives are in place but we need more than recycling. Pulling away from oil and gas would be a start."
Graduate, London
"There's not a huge amount. The cups are vegware and we do a lot of recycling. However, we don't have hand dryers in the bathrooms and use paper towels. I can't say I've observed a huge commitment to reducing the carbon footprint."
Graduate, London
"The company supports recycling and reducing wastage. The café also encourages greener produce and less consumption of meat to help the environment."
Graduate, London
"My employer does appear to take green initiatives seriously and different kinds of recycling are available in each of the kitchens on all of the floors in the SBB office. The Tower Place office has gotten rid of all single-use plastic."
Risk Management, Graduate, London
