Interview: Tips & Advice

"I had to complete an online application followed by numerical and English tests. Following these I had a phone interview and finally an assessment day. My advice would be to do your research on Sky and the products and services it provides."
Graduate, London
"Know your technical skills, be relaxed and be yourself."
Graduate, Osterley
"There's a telephone interview followed by an assessment centre. Be yourself and try to find out more about the company than you already know for preparation. Get some experience if you can (I did a summer placement at Sky before joining it as a graduate and that made the application process a lot smoother)."
Graduate, London
"The application process included a written application, maths/literacy tests, a phone interview and an assessment centre. Make sure you read up on what Sky prioritises as a business and what things it is currently working on. Include this awareness in your interview and written application and match it with your own skills to help show the interviewer why they should employ you."
Graduate, London
"Make sure you study the website and know the current campaigns and products of Sky."
Graduate, London
"My main tip is to research Sky and make sure that you are familiar with the Sky behaviours. Support everything that you say with examples where you can. The best approach is the STAR method (situation, task, action and result). Be yourself, be confident and be passionate about Sky. It would be a good idea to have some questions prepared for the interview, maybe ask the interviewers about themselves. Understand what skills are required for your programme and understand why you want to work for Sky and why that specific programme."
Graduate, Livingston
"Research the company and the latest things it's up to, whether that's a new advert or a new business area that it's moved into. Really show your passion for working at the company and why you think you would be a great addition to a team, using examples to support your statement."
Graduate, Osterly
