Media and advertising
Advertising professionals work for specialist advertising agencies, marketing consultancies or in-house marketing departments at larger organisations. Media companies span the traditional publishers, news outlets, and TV and radio broadcasters, but roles can increasingly be found with technology companies and retailers as they need people to communicate compellingly online.
While there is a strong presence of book publishers and newspapers on the list, arguably broadcasters continue to dominate. The BBC, ITV and Channel 4 take the top three positions and the only new entrant is the owner of Warner Bros, with a strong history in film and TV.
