Why Attend

Build your network by making connections through networking and ‘how to get hired’ sessions. Meet some of the brightest engineers in the field, hear about their experiences and see how you can follow in their footsteps.

Boost your CV. Attending Future Female Engineers will not only allow you to speak directly to recruiters who will tell you exactly what a successful CV looks like; the event itself is a fantastic addition to your CV. It shows you have a keen interest in engineering and that you are actively seeking personal development. The event will also be another way of showcasing your interpersonal skills.

Practise for the real thing in a supportive environment. We have put together a series of sessions that give you the information and advice to succeed on paper and in interviews. There’s also a practical team challenge to break the ice and develop your team-working and time-management skills that you’ll need at future assessment centres.

Find your pathway into engineering and talk to inspirational women. You will hear from senior engineers, graduates/interns and other students like you with a passion for engineering.

We have attended the Future Female Engineering event for a number of years now; it is a great opportunity for employers to meet with interested and motivated female engineering students. Throughout the event students have the opportunity to get to know their preferred employers, hear what is like to be a graduate in the company and also gain helpful hints and tips on the application process. The event is a great opportunity for students and employers to network across a number of informal and fun sessions!
