From the moment you join us, you will be immersed in a team of exceptional digital consultants, project managers, and specialists ready to support you in your career. With guidance from a professional engineer, your responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Undertaking a ‘digital by default’ approach in deliverables
- Undertake digital delivery workstreams (information management, BIM, GIS, business intelligence, automation, etc.) activities
- Responsible for implementing the latest digital design delivery methods and improved ways of working
- Work with our clients helping them to harness opportunities, including digital to tackle their complex challenges
- Assist in development and implementation of building information modelling (BIM) and Digital Engineering execution plans, project setup, model production, coordination and help establish digital delivery specific workflows for collaborations and data exchange
- Assist the set-up, configuration and overall management of the BIM platforms used on projects, and lead model federation and design resolution activities, including assisting in model navigation and leading the team during model-based design review meetings.
- A passion for data and a fascination with how this can be turned into real value during delivery
- Preparation of Reports and Dashboards
- Data manipulation and analysis, data representation using various formats and platforms.
- Computational and parametric design for digital engineering, working in 3D modelling and visual programming platform
- Technical development of in-house methodologies for computational design to improve efficiency and productivity
- Development of in-house bespoke script and analysis tool to support project delivery
- Actively participating in our Early Careers Professionals Network

- Additionally, you’ll work with stakeholders to gather feedback, validate requirements, and drive alignment among all parties involved, fostering effective communication and collaboration between project and technical teams.

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months relevant experience and have a degree or are expected to achieve one in Building Information Management, Digital Technologies, or a similar subject.
In your application you should be able to demonstrate your interest in the role and working at Mott MacDonald through relevant experience, such as studying relevant modules, or previous work experience.
We are looking for graduates with the following characteristics:
- Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Eagerness to develop new skills and to further expand the knowledge within different areas of digital workstreams
- Confident to work autonomously
- Exceptional team player, and able to work effectively and inclusively with remote teams
- Ability to work in a fluid, unstructured environment with a can-do, positive and pro-active attitude and seeing things through to the end.
