Business Development Intern

As a member of the Europe based part of Otsuka’s Global BD team, this role will be supporting the delivery of due-diligence and scouting priorities.

The candidate will gain exposure to the various parts of a global pharmaceutical company including marketing, finance, market access and pricing.

The position offers the opportunity to interact closely with the European Senior Leadership team and the CEO Europe and have insights on corporate strategy and long-term planning, as well as with the Global Head and leads within Business Development who are based in Japan and the US?.

• Collect, analyse, synthesise and interpret information / data relating to therapies, technologies, companies and products and present in clear and concise manner?
• Support the Director of Business Development and Associate Director in completing valuations of the commercial opportunity covering both pharmaceutical and digital opportunities (build market landscape, market uptake, sales potential, P&L forecasts) ?
• Deliver to evaluations in accordance to Global BD requirements, and manage team timelines accordingly where relevant ?
• Engage external consultants to get relevant information?
• Support scouting activities in line with strategy?
