Our purpose-built 12-month Industrial Placements will enable you to choose more from your career in banking.

Technology Industrial Placement

Immerse yourself in our Technology Industrial Placement. Joining either our Security & Resilience or Data & Analytics teams, you'll make a meaningful impact on our customers' needs by delivering technology safely, securely and at pace. Develop more as you build technical skills and knowledge within an organisation that's unique in banking.

Risk and Compliance Placement

We protect customers by ensuring that our business delivers in a safe, sustainable way. Join either our Economic Crime Risk and Compliance or the Operational Risk Oversight team and you'll develop more by gaining exposure to data insights, analysis and process improvement. Deliver more as you assess the controls protecting customers and Nationwide from financial and non-financial risks.

In our 12-month placement you'll develop more as you learn about key risks including market, credit, economic crime, technology and security.

Finance, Treasury and Data Systems

Our Finance, Treasury and Data Systems teams ensure we spend our customers' money wisely, improving efficiency and productivity in everything we do. Choose from either Financial Management, Financial Reporting, Treasury or Data and Systems as you build a rewarding career, not just a job.

Customer Experience Placement

Develop more in Customer Experience and have exposure to end-to-end strategic change management, customer research and diagnostics, and process improvement across multiple projects. Choose a placement in either Relationship Management or Research & Customer Experience .

Product & Propositions Placement

On our Product & Propositions Industrial Placement , you’ll specifically operate in either our Mortgages & Financial Wellbeing or Retail Products team. You'll gain exposure to product pricing, performance and planning, customer research and process improvement.

Marketing Industrial Placement

Develop more on our Marketing Industrial Placement , where you'll gain knowledge in areas such as research, customer strategy, vulnerability, and data visualisation & reporting. You’ll join either our Customer Marketing & Planning team, Marketing Analytics, Effectiveness & Brand Performance team or Personalisation Strategy & Decisioning team.
