This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate to join the marketing and investor relations department of Fair Oaks Capital, a leading independent investment manager specialising in corporate credit managing in excess of $3 billion with offices in London and New York.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Working alongside experienced investment, marketing and investor relations professionals, your responsibilities will include:

  • Keeping up to date with relevant information disseminated within the firm (i.e. through team meetings, reports etc.) and ensuring this is consistent with marketing materials
  • Keeping internal databases updated sourcing information from various internal groups and industry data providers
  • Ensuring that various marketing materials, including quarterly and monthly client reports and presentations are regularly updated
  • Verifying all data with members of the Investment Team to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Supporting marketing initiatives such as completion and regular updates of DDQs and RFPs within required deadlines
  • Overtime, ability to take additional responsibility including investment write-ups and white papers

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong academic background with a relevant degree. Previous financial services/asset management experience ideal.
  • Excellent computer literacy, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A professional, self-motivated, positive and proactive individual with an ability to work as part of a team or independently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines under pressure, as well as managing expectations.
