Meet Arran, Implementation Consultant
I first joined eQ Technologic in September 2022. As a graduate, this was the start of a very exciting next step for me but also a bit daunting. The team at eQ could not have welcomed me more! I was welcomed with open arms both in the office and online (through MS Teams as its hybrid working).
One of my first in-person meetings with the eQ team was at their Annual European Team Event which was, on that occasion, at “The Bunkhouse”. This was such a pleasurable experience! If you join the European team, you will eventually find out how friendly and diverse our team is…
I was encouraged to speak to everyone in the team whilst going through training, which was a great as it allowed me to get to know the people I was beginning to work alongside and learn from their expertise even if it wasn’t directly related to my role.
Initially I found the job was challenging, and it can take a while to get your head around the product, but you gain so much from it too. Now I am nearly a year into joining the eQ team, time has flown by and I have learnt so much along the way; as well as gaining a lot confidence.
There are lots of opportunities to grow within eQ which I am looking forward to working towards. Looking back, I thank myself for pushing to apply and taking that step as I have loved my time here so far.

It's been a great learning experience so far, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a supportive team. As an implementation consultant in eQ Technologic, you hit the ground running and quickly become an integral part of the team. In just three months, I have gained a deep understanding of the company's software solutions and collaborated effectively with internal teams, such as product development, to ensure seamless project implementation and provide tailored solutions to meet customer specific business requirements.
One of the biggest challenges I've faced has been learning to navigate our software and understanding the different configurations that can be used to meet customer needs. However, I've received a lot of support and training from my team, which has helped me to build my skills and gain confidence in my abilities.
Looking ahead, I'm excited to continue building my skills and contributing to the success of our team. I'm grateful for the support I've received from my team and look forward to taking on new challenges in the coming months.
