Central London

If you’re an aspiring Black Heritage barrister, this is not just another event—it’s a powerful opportunity to gain real insight into the world of Chambers and take meaningful steps toward your future at the Bar.
We are bringing together six leading Chambers and organisations: Twenty Essex, Landmark Chambers, 3 Verulam Buildings, The University of Law, the Specialist Bar Association, and Crown Office Chambers. All are united by a shared commitment to increasing diversity within the legal profession and to meeting talented future barristers like YOU.
Throughout the event, you’ll hear from inspiring voices across the profession in a series of keynote speeches that offer honest reflections, practical advice, and powerful personal journeys into life at the Bar.
You’ll also have access to invaluable networking opportunities, allowing you to connect directly with barristers, recruiters, and peers who understand the path you’re on and want to support your success.
Our interactive skills workshops are designed to give you a real edge. These sessions will focus on essential aspects of a career at the Bar, including:
• Navigating the application process and standing out in a competitive field
• Developing strong advocacy skills
• Building confidence in public speaking
• Understanding what Chambers are really looking for
In addition, our panel sessions will create space for open, honest, and thought-provoking conversations about the realities of the profession, addressing challenges while highlighting opportunities, progress, and how you can thrive.
This is more than just information - it’s access, preparation, and empowerment.
Most importantly, you’ll meet Chambers that are actively championing diversity and are genuinely invested in your journey: your story, your ambition, and your potential.
This is your chance to be seen, to be heard, and to step forward with clarity, confidence, and connection.
Come and be part of something truly extraordinary.
