Who can apply to attend this event?

Each event has its own specific entry requirements based on subject area, background, or identity - for Proud in Law it is specifically for students who identify with the LGBTQIA+ community and who are also interested in a career in Law.

Is this an in-person event? Do I have to pay to attend?

This event is in person and it is completely free!

Will I get reimbursed for my travel expenses to the event?

Yes! We reimburse up to £100 for travel expenses.

What is the dress code?

All of our events are semi-formal but we suggest you feel comfortable. We recommend you dress as you would for an interview - look smart, feel smart.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself and your curiosity. You may want to bring a notebook or laptop - but that's completely up to you!

What if I don't know anyone?

That’s totally fine — most attendees arrive on their own. We make sure the environment is friendly, welcoming, and inclusive. You’ll meet students just like you and leave with new connections.

What happens after I apply?

We’ll review your application and contact successful applicants with further details. If you’re not selected this time, we’ll keep you in mind for future events and opportunities.
