12 Month Internship - Credit Research

Join the Global Markets Division (GMD) at Credit Agricole CIB London, where you will play a crucial role within the credit research team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to support the publication of influential market reports and assist in client engagements. You will gain invaluable insights into the covered bond and SSA markets and experience the dynamics of a sell-side analyst role. Ideal candidates will have strong competencies in Excel, PowerBI, and Python, with Bloomberg experience being advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and dissemination of regular publications, including document preparation, updating charts, and tables.
  • Maintain and enhance our Excel databases, integrating and organising data within PowerBI.
  • Contribute to various projects focused on the development of new data products and the enhancement of our analytical tools and models.
  • Assist internal stakeholders with requests related to covered bond and SSA markets.

Minimal education level

Bachelor's degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Strong adaptability with the ability to quickly assimilate new tasks.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially when handling large data sets.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to understand complex products and generate innovative ideas.
  • Excellent time management skills with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.

Technical skills required

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerBI; knowledge of Python and experience with Bloomberg are advantageous.
