About The Role

As industry influencers, the Utilities and Energy team strive for improvements that benefit our clients. We work alongside the firm’s MEP engineers, our sustainability team, or as a standalone service, covering all aspects of water, gas, electricity, telecoms to renewable utility-scale energy services.

We are thought leaders in our field, we don’t just react to change—we drive it. Whether contributing to masterplans, optimizing grid connections, or supporting energy transition initiatives, we help our clients turn complexity into clarity and opportunity.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Part of a small and dynamic Energy Economics team, where high importance is given to teamwork, communication skills, thoroughness, and skills in data manipulation.
  • Work closely with the wider Advisory and Advocacy team and provide support to other built environment specialist areas when required.
  • Work closely with the group’s Director and support other team members on a wide range of building projects with varying energy & utility infrastructure requirements.
  • Work on live projects from day one. Projects span a variety of sectors, from healthcare to data centres and utility-scale renewable projects.
  • Attend client meetings and participate in the interview process to extract information necessary to deliver projects and communicate the results efficiently.
  • Research ground-breaking technologies and actively follow developments and policies in the ever-changing UK energy landscape.
  • Continuous CPD and learning opportunities across a wide range of technical domains.

Communication will be central to your role, as you’ll regularly liaise with project teams, meet clients, and attend collaborative meetings. You will receive a dedicated mentor and supervisor, and receive the best training to support you through your development with us.
