Who we are

Frontier Economics is an economics consultancy that tackles the big questions facing governments, businesses and society. We help our clients to analyse and understand their markets and to formulate strategies based on sound economics. The methods and models we use are often complex, but our advice is always succinct, clear and honest .

Data Science at Frontier

Working with our economists, the Data Science team use cutting edge analytical methods and tools to provide convincing, evidence-based advice to management teams, government and competition authorities. They mine large and complex data sources, explain causal relationships and deliver compelling visualisations whilst also guiding clients on how to think strategically about their data.

  • Have an ability to meet deadlines
  • Have a proven interest in learning about economics, especially those topics at the intersection of data science and economics such as causal inference, regression modelling, microeconomics or behavioural science

If any of the requirements listed do not fully apply to you, but you feel that you could bring a growth mindset to those areas, we still encourage you to apply.

What you’ll get from the role

You’ll learn to deliver data science projects in a work environment, including working with GitHub, coding standards and quality assurance. You will source data and set our data requirements, adapting analysis based on data availability. You’ll analyse large and complex data sets and use data science tools.
