Role Title: Graduate Surveyor – Commercial, Residential and Planning & Development
September 2027 start
Salary:
London: £30,000 and £1,500 sign-on bonus / Regions: £27,000 and £1,000 sign-on bonus. Please note that some regions will offer a higher salary of £30,000 and £1,500 sign-on bonus, dependent on the location and the cost of living.

About this role:
The London graduate scheme encompasses Commercial, Residential, or Planning & Development pathways. Post-assessment, successful candidates will be enrolled with the RICS on the relevant pathway. A graduate at Savills will have exposure to a variety of aspects within the property industry during their two-year graduate scheme.
London Rotation
The Savills Graduate Programme (London Rotation) comprises 6 rotations of 4 months each. Graduates will rotate between different specialist departments across our London offices, gaining comprehensive industry knowledge, market insight, and Savills' team and client experience. Graduates are assigned teams based on required competencies, preferences, and team demand.
Commercial Rotations
The commercial rotation may include rotations within teams in various divisions such as Business Space, Central London & International, Development, European Investment, and more.
Development Rotations
Development graduates will follow the ‘Planning and Development’ pathway, including up to 8 months in planning, and may involve rotations within teams in divisions such as Development, London Commercial Development, Planning, and others.
Residential Rotations
The 'Residential' pathway allows you to become a registered valuer and includes rotations within teams in divisions such as Residential Development, Housing, Operational Capital Markets, and more.
Regions
Regional graduates are typically fixed in one team, but some may rotate within the office to gain sufficient experience. In other offices, such as Birmingham, there are structured rotation programs.
Commercial Roles include:
Opportunities like Birmingham Rotation (Various Teams), Peterborough, and Reading, focusing on Global Occupier Services, and offering various specialisms.
Development Roles include:
Opportunities in locations like Reading, Oxford, and Chelmsford, offering experience in valuation and development land agency sides.
Assessment Process:
- Online Application – Applications close at 11.59pm on 19th October 2026
- Online Assessment – SHL, to be completed by 12pm on 20th October 2026
- Screening Calls for Shortlisted Candidates – November/December
- Assessment Centre & Panel Interview – London based: 5th and 6th January 2027; Birmingham rotation roles: 11th January 2027; All other regional roles: 14th and 15th January 2027
