Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Level 7 Apprentice to join our team specializing in finance for our intercompany department in Darlington, UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
Summary of the course:
The Intercompany Level 7 Apprentice role is a developmental position within the Cummins Business Segment Finance function. During the apprenticeship you will work 5 days per week in Cummins, inclusive of study support. The working hours are 37hrs per week (with adaptability to suit business needs). On completion of this apprenticeship, you will obtain a professional ACCA qualification.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Intercompany monthly Netting run for European entities, including cash application and bank reconciliations.
- Intercompany month-end processes
- Balance sheet reconciliations and timely resolution of aged items
- Ensure Sox documentation is followed, and all work instructions are maintained, in accordance with current processes and controls.
- Ensure SLA’s and targets are met.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the team.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Obtained Level 4 AAT
- Some experience in a relevant accounting role
- Proficient IT and MS Office skills are essential
- Excellent Communication skills and ability to work in a proactive manor.
