Analyst - Investor Relations & Marketing (Graduate / Early Career) - London - Start October 2026
Job Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or early-career candidate to join the marketing and investor relations team of Fair Oaks Capital, a leading independent investment manager specialising in corporate credit, managing c.$4 billion, headquartered in London.
The role is designed to provide a strong foundation in investor relations within an investment management environment. The successful candidate will learn quickly through close interaction with the investment, marketing and investor relations teams, while contributing to day-to-day outputs.
The role will also involve working with AI tools (such as ChatGPT and Claude), with the expectation that the successful candidate will contribute to their practical application within investor relations and marketing workflows.
What you will do
-
Produce and quality-check the monthly reporting cycle across our funds (factsheets, investor reports, performance analytics, mailings and web updates) to fixed deadlines.
-
Work with the firm's AI production systems daily, running, documenting and improving them.
-
Maintain investor data, CRM records and prospecting analytics that feed the firm's pipeline framework.
-
Build toward investor-facing work: within a year, analysts are expected to contribute directly to marketing and client materials, product development and strategy, and to present internally and externally.
What we are looking for
-
Evidence of being smart and precise: a strong academic record (any degree discipline) or an early-career track record in fund services, fund accounting or asset-management operations.
-
Excellent written English.
-
Obsessive accuracy.
-
Genuine, demonstrated AI-tool fluency (core requirement): structured, practical use, not just familiarity, with a clear understanding that it is a tool whose outputs must be verified.
-
Strong interest in developing a career in Investor Relations, Marketing and Sales.
-
Languages: professional proficiency in Italian, French or German is a strong plus.
-
Availability: able to start by early October 2026. Candidates with existing UK right to work, including the Graduate visa route, are welcome to apply.
How to apply - deadline 28 August 2026, reviewed on receipt
Send your CV plus a maximum 250-word note via email (subject: Analyst Application - [Name]) describing ONE concrete piece of work you produced using AI tools: what you built or automated, what went wrong or surprised you, and how you verified the output before relying on it. This note is a core part of the application, we will read it before the CV. Generic descriptions of “using ChatGPT for research” or applications which do not follow the guidelines will not be considered.
