We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a real passion for user experience and IT to join our lively team of approximately twenty engineers, supporting several sites and around 5000+ users.

The post is based in our Titchfield office only and requires on-site attendance within Service Support Hours (8am-5.30pm) operated on a rota basis.

Job description

We’re looking for two Corporate Technical Support Engineers with a real drive and passion for excellent user experience.

The role resides within our Corporate Technical Support team who support colleagues by resolving service calls related to the use of IT devices and their applications, including mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and desktop computers. You will be supporting colleagues across a range of communication channels, both virtually and face-to-face i.e. Microsoft Teams/Outlook, ServiceNow or our Tech bars.

Some elements of this work can be physically demanding and involve lifting and installing equipment such as monitors / personal computers and supporting meeting room equipment.

As a member of the Corporate Technical support team, you will be supporting and maintaining new and existing services, products, and platforms. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about end-user computing and enjoy helping others get the most from their technology.

Responsibilities

As a Corporate Technical Support Infrastructure Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to, for the services, products and platforms supported:

  • The effective handling of incidents, service requests and changes.

  • Monitoring the configuration, availability, security, capacity and performance.

  • Contributing to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintaining accurate asset records throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal, applying quality updates.

  • Maximising the use of tools and technology to deliver operational excellence.

  • Participating in wider communities of practice to share experiences, learn from others, and adopt proven good practices.
