About our Commercial Summer Internship programme – starting July 2027

Join us for eight events in Osterley to see how Sky’s commercial engine works. You’ll dig into market trends, turn data into decisions and collaborate with teams across the business - with the opportunity to progress into our 2028 Business Graduate Programme.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for first-year undergrads, or those in the second year of a four-year course, no specific degree required. If you’re curious about Commercial Strategy and Planning, you’ll fit right in.

• A highly numerate and analytical problem solver

• A great verbal and written communicator

• A good attention to detail

• People-oriented with excellent collaboration skills

• Proactive and keen to drive improvement

• A problem solver with skills to overcome obstacles.

Successful candidates must have the right to work in the UK by the time our Commercial Summer Internship kicks off in July 2027 - unfortunately, we can't offer sponsorship for these roles.

The application process

The application process couldn’t be simpler. Just fill out our online form with your details and academic info, then answer a couple of motivational questions to help us get to know you, what sparks your interest in our programmes and why you’re passionate about the industry.

There are no online assessments for our Insight Event, so you can focus on sharing your story with us. If you secure a place, our Early Careers team will review any travel expense requests and do all we can to support you. This is your chance to show us what makes you shine and get a real taste of life at Sky.

Your Path to a Summer Internship

Following the Insight Event, you will be invited to complete our immersive digital assessments. If you are successful following the completion of these, you will be invited to an Assessment Centre for the Commercial Internship starting in July 2027.

Applications are due to close on 16th March 2026, however, if there are high volumes of applications, we may close early. The earliest date we’ll close applications is 2nd March 2026.
