Black Talent in Business
During this three-day paid programme you’ll get an insight into what a career at PwC could look like, you’ll meet mentors and buddies who’ll represent the variety of opportunities available across PwC. You’ll meet some of our Black colleagues to hear about their own personal career journeys, as well as from some of our networks focussed on Inclusion and Diversity. Through interactive sessions the programme will help you to develop confidence in a business setting and encourage you to bring your whole self to the workplace. At PwC, we nurture an environment where our people can be the best they can be. Our Black Talent in Business programme will be a 3-day paid programme taking place 14-16 April 2025. You will need to be in the UK to complete this programme.
What you'll do
You’ll typically find yourself working as part of a team of anything from two to thirty people. Our client projects are resourced nationally and internationally, so travelling and living away from home may be required. When you're not on a project you'll be based out of your local office. You’ll spend a lot of time working with clients both virtually and at their offices, dealing with project issues as they arise and gain valuable exposure to different types of clients and diverse industries. You may be required to carry out detailed analysis, helping support the recommendations that transform our clients’ businesses. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on strategically important internal roles where you'll gain specialist knowledge from within the PwC network. These experiences, combined with tailored training covering consulting skills, emerging digital tools and technology, will equip you with the capabilities to really make a difference. You can expect to have the opportunity to demonstrate and develop all the core skills that you'll learn as part of the induction training.

- collecting, analysing and presenting data
- facilitating client workshops and presenting findings
- supporting project management activity
- developing meeting facilitation, time management and organisational skills
- commercial management and engagement economics
- proposal support
- thought leadership/research
- contributions to communities with their asset development and efforts to positively impact inclusion and diversity engagement within teams.
What you'll gain
By completing the programme, you'll have the opportunity to be considered for a subsequent Summer Internship 2026 role in the location and business area which you've done the programme. Many of our summer internship participants go on to receive graduate role offers.
What you'll need
You'll need to be on track to pass an undergraduate degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study. You'll need to be a first-year undergraduate university student on a three-year degree course; or You'll need to be a second-year undergraduate university students on a four-year degree course.
