The Organisation

Unlocked Graduates is an award-winning charity which exists to break cycles of reoffending. We do this by developing outstanding individuals to lead rehabilitation in prisons and throughout society through our graduate scheme, a two-year Leadership Development Programme.

The Role

As a Brand Ambassador with Unlocked Graduates, you’ll be raising the profile of Unlocked Graduates and our graduate scheme.

Key responsibilities:

• Raise brand awareness of Unlocked Graduates on your university campus by speaking to students, academic departments, societies and voluntary organisations.
• Support Recruitment Officers at careers fairs and events, where you will speak positively and persuasively about Unlocked.
• Post about our graduate scheme on social media and other forums.
• Be as creative as possible in promoting our graduate scheme. This could include holding events, creating videos, writing articles – you have creative freedom!
• Share feedback from students and staff about Unlocked Graduates and the graduate scheme to Recruitment Officer.

We seek candidates who exhibit the following attributes in our Brand Ambassadors:

• Motivation – Demonstrate passion about Unlocked Graduates and show clear drive to promote the programme and transform perceptions of prisons and prisoners.
• Initiative – Independently explore new ideas, run events, and manage time effectively.
• Relationship building – Quickly establish relationships with new and existing stakeholders such as societies and academics.
• Communication – Confidently engage others with the ability to influence and persuade.
• Resilience – Ideas may not always go according to plan so you will need to adapt and stay solutions focussed when faced with challenges, whilst maintaining a positive attitude.
