Graduate job

Texaport, a fast-growing and ambitious technology services business based in Edinburgh, seeks a proactive and enthusiastic recent graduate in Business Management to join our team.

This is a unique and varied opportunity for a recent business management graduate or someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience across multiple business functions. As a Business Analyst, you’ll work closely with leadership, sales, and operations teams to support strategic decision-making, identify growth opportunities, and help the business run more efficiently.

It’s an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, is curious about how businesses operate, and isn’t yet ready to specialize in one particular area.

Business Development Support

  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, tenders, and pitch materials.
  • Assist with sales pipeline analysis and CRM data hygiene.
  • Develop client insights and support account growth strategies.

Operations & Process Improvement

  • Map and analyse existing processes across departments.
  • Identify inefficiencies and help implement improvements.
  • Assist in the development and rollout of internal tools, systems, or documentation.
  • Monitor key operational metrics and produce regular performance reports.

Strategic Support

  • Participate in planning sessions, providing data and insights to support decision-making.
  • Support cross-functional projects involving sales, marketing, IT, finance, and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with leadership to monitor progress against company goals and KPIs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Business Management (essential).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working with data and basic business tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems).
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of projects.
  • A flexible mindset – able to shift between tasks and workstreams with confidence.
  • Previous experience (e.g., placement year, internship, part-time work) in a business setting is desirable but not essential.

Why Join Us?

  • Exposure to every aspect of the business – from sales and marketing to strategy and delivery.
  • A chance to work directly with senior leaders and gain valuable mentoring.
  • A flexible, supportive environment that helps shape your professional interests.
  • The opportunity to grow into a permanent specialist or generalist role based on your strengths.
  • Real impact from day one – your insights and input will help shape how we work and grow.

If you’re an ambitious and adaptable graduate who wants to explore different areas of business and make a tangible impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply with your CV and a brief cover letter outlining what interests you about this broad-based role and where you think you could make a difference.
