Business Developer Intern - 2027 - 12 Months

Role Overview

This 12-month internship gives a Business Developer responsibility for supporting the launch and growth of a new service. The intern will help build a customer pipeline, gather market and customer insight and turn findings into practical improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify attractive market segments and business-development opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with prospective customers and understand their needs.
• Translate customer requirements into clear input for product, technology and internal teams.
• Measure performance, investigate root causes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Review purchasing processes and propose simpler, lower-cost solutions that improve the user experience.
• Manage competing priorities in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
• Travel domestically when required, up to approximately 25% of working time.

Internship Experience

The role provides hands-on responsibility, exposure to Amazon operations and structured support through mentoring, learning sessions and an international intern community. Start dates are available between January and September 2027. Applicants must be able to complete a full-time 12-month internship and have the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Basic Qualifications

• Penultimate- or final-year student working towards a degree in business, marketing, finance, economics or a related field.
• English language ability at C1 level or above.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Experience or interest in B2C logistics.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, CRM platforms and sales or marketing automation tools.
