Position: VIP Intern

CELINE is a booming French and leather goods couture house driven by a new holistic and creative project led by Michael Rider, its Artistic Director. CELINE’s ambition is to become one of the most iconic luxury brands worldwide. To make this vision a reality, we are looking for enthusiastic, agile, and passionate personalities eager to evolve in a demanding environment.

Job Responsibilities

Your Impact

Sample requests and trafficking:

• Submit editorial and dressing VIP requests to Paris headquarters for approval daily.
• Lead communication with stylist assistants regarding sample send-outs and returns.
• Maintain image inventory of London-based VIP samples and compile dressing proposal PDFs to send to stylists.
• Utilize the launch metrics platform to input new VIP samples and track VIP send-out.

Shipping & Logistics:

• In charge of the packing of all samples coming in and out of the showroom.
• Coordinate messenger services to pick up and drop off samples from stylists and VIPs.
• Arrange domestic and international sample shipments by contacting the vendor, preparing the proforma invoice, and tracking delivery.

VIP Image and Press Monitoring:

• Check photo agencies periodically throughout the day for images of celebrities wearing brand products.
• Maintain regional VIP announcement media list by tracking editorial shifts and updating contact information accordingly.
• Check social media periodically throughout the day for VIPs wearing CELINE.
• Conduct a thorough daily press search to find any coverage of VIPs wearing CELINE on all digital press outlets.

VIP Gifting:

• Manage the logistics for seasonal gifting initiatives, including receiving product and packaging materials, gift wrapping, and shipping.
• Coordinate monthly birthday gifts (e.g., sending the calligraphed note and gift to the florist and ensuring a safe delivery to the VIP).
• Manage logistics for show invitations and gifts.

Strategy and Research:

• Research rising talent within entertainment and music industries that fit within the brand aesthetic and could be of interest for potential collaborations, including BAFTA/local events, collection show presence, or potential campaigns.
• Compile monthly report recapping emerging talent to share with the VIP manager.

Profile

Keys for Success Competencies: Computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office; launch metrics is a plus. Extremely detail-oriented, with an organized manner of working. A team player who works very well with others and communicates clearly and articulately. Works well on a small team where they will need to take initiative, problem-solve in unexpected timely situations, and take on a wide variety of tasks. Genuinely enthusiastic to learn and grow in a positive, collaborative work environment. Passionate about the luxury fashion and celebrity/entertainment industries. Strong interest in the music industry. Understands the confidential nature of this department.

Languages: Fluent in English with proficiency in other languages will be an advantage.
