Northern Ireland Hospice is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic student to join our Corporate Communications team as part of a year-out placement. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy, purpose-driven communications environment, supporting work that makes a real difference to patients and families across Northern Ireland.
Working alongside an experienced team, you will support a wide range of communications activity including social media, website content, campaigns, media relations, and events. You’ll gain practical skills, build your portfolio and develop a strong understanding of communications within a leading healthcare charity.
What you’ll do:
- Help create content for social media, website, and campaigns
- Support day-to-day communications activity and planning
- Assist with events and media monitoring
- Work with teams across the organisation to support their communications needs
About you:
- Studying Communications, PR, Marketing or a related subject (placement year required)
- Strong written communication skills
- Creative, organised and eager to learn
- An interest in digital communications and storytelling
