Join the teams that manage data and transform it into actionable information across Sky. Creating new products. Exploring new markets. Innovating ways to communicate with our customers. You can even help predict what the future of our multi-billion-pound business looks like.
On our Data and Analytics Programme, you’ll spend two years taking on varied roles, rising to unique challenges, and working on the kind of exciting projects you just don’t find anywhere else. All while discovering first-hand how we bring millions of people the entertainment they know and love.
And the best thing is you don’t have to specialise too soon. Instead, you get to experience everything that makes data and analytics special at Sky before deciding on the area that’s right for you.
What you’ll be doing
Across two years, you’ll progress through four different rotations; rising to exciting and complex challenges you won’t find anywhere else. There are opportunities to join teams from Econometrics to Advanced Analytics and from Digital Decisioning to Applied Data Science. You can gain exposure across the full spectrum of data analysis and data science.
At the same time, you’ll get to work alongside lots of great people. Develop amazing data and analytical skills. Take your ideas all the way through to testing. And help shape where our multibillion-pound business goes next.
What we’re looking for
You're a graduate from any degree discipline or soon will be. You’re likely to have studied maths, statistics, economics, physics or be able to demonstrate your understanding of the use of data through personal or university projects. We’re interested in your passion for data and the drive and ambition you can bring to the team.
Other skills you may have include:
- Logical, end to end thinker
- An enthusiastic problem-solver, with numerical, presentation and IT skills
- Enjoy task-focused delivery, a fast-paced environment and overcoming challenges
- Collaborative, great with people and keen on following recent trends in the market.
Right to Work

Your application journey
Step 1 – Submit your application.
We’ll ask for your details, academic information, and anything else you think would be relevant, such as work experience.
Once your application has been submitted, you’ll be invited to complete our immersive digital assessments. This may land in your junk folder, so remember to check it.
Step 2 – Complete our two online digital assessments.
These look at your Sky fit and your business fit. Why not pop onto our dedicated Preparation Hub to familiarise yourself with some of these digital assessments before completing them.
You’ll also have the opportunity to practice each of these assessments beforehand, so please read our email instructions carefully. We’ve added some tips to help you along the way.
Step 3 – Attend our virtual assessment centre
For the final stage of your application, we’ll invite you to our virtual assessment centre and give you some tasks to get to know you better. The day will give you a practical insight into what it’s like to work in Data and Analytics and will assess your aptitude for this programme.
Once you’ve completed your assessment day, we’ll let you know when you can expect to hear back from us.
Reasonable adjustments – if you need us to make any adjustments to help you complete any stage of your application, let us know when you submit it and someone from our Early Careers team will get in touch.
