We're a housing association, here to provide safe, affordable homes and to build stronger communities across the Midlands. And we're offering students the chance to join intern in our Communications & External Affairs team—where you'll use your design skills to help shape the way we engage with our tenants, colleagues, and communities.

Summer Internship:

Your Role:

Your Content Won't Gather Dust. From tenant newsletters and social media campaigns to high-impact video content and corporate publications, the work you create will be seen and used by thousands. Working alongside our in-house Communications team, you'll gain valuable experience across photography, video, and design that will stand out on your CV and portfolio.

Your day-to-day will see you:

  • Creating engaging multimedia content—including graphics, photography, and video—for campaigns, reports, presentations, digital channels, and print.
  • Supporting our internal and external communications teams by maintaining a consistent, digital-first brand identity across all platforms and materials.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to bring their messages to life through creative storytelling and visual design.
  • Developing your technical toolkit in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro) to produce professional-grade audio and visual assets.
  • Taking part in project work, mentoring, and development activities as part of your internship.

What we're looking for:

  • Currently studying (or recently completed) a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.
  • A creative thinker with a good eye for detail.
  • Confidence using design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
  • A portfolio of your work (coursework, personal projects, or freelance) to showcase your skills.
  • Enthusiasm, openness to feedback, and a genuine desire to learn.

How to apply:
