Programme information

You will join as a trainee as part of the Investment20/20 programme. Our programme will introduce you to the investment management industry and you will gain industry knowledge, experience and develop relationships enabling you to progress your career and provide you with skills to secure a permanent role. During the programme you will have access to relevant training. As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events.

Our trainee programme is a fixed term one year contract paying £26,500 plus benefits. You will receive 27 days annual leave. This role is based in London.

The Team

You will sit in the digital marketing sub team that currently consists of four people. We control all things digital marketing at Liontrust, from website and social media management, to email and event marketing campaigns. We’re a small team so it’s important that we work closely together, happy to help each other when necessary.

The wider marketing team is over 20-persons strong, with another five sub teams covering content creation, marketing data, presentation production, RFPs, and PR. Whilst your role is digital marketing focused, you will have other broader responsibilities that require you to work across the marketing team and with the rest of the business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Uploading and managing content, data and documents on the company’s websites;
  • Setting up and sending email campaigns using Salesforce and Pardot;
  • Setting up social media posts, including paid social campaigns;
  • Assisting the digital marketing team with event marketing campaigns;
  • Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of our digital activities;
  • Working with the digital marketing team to ensure our website content is reviewed on a regular basis to ensure it’s kept up-to-date;
  • Working with the digital marketing team and Liontrust’s external digital agency to continually develop and improve Liontrust’s digital marketing capabilities;
  • Assisting the marketing team with event logistics, planning and execution.
