Say hello to the NDA group graduate programme

Graduates are fundamental to our future. Our programme focuses on supporting talented and ambitious graduates to build a first-class foundation for a rewarding career in the nuclear sector.

Our graduate programme covers all aspects of nuclear decommissioning, from the breaking down of nuclear reactors, to the safe transport and treatment of waste, to the restoration of sites for new purposes.

Join our Digital, Data and Technology Graduate Scheme to power the safe, efficient delivery of the UK’s earliest nuclear facility decommissioning. You’ll support a vast number of colleagues across the NDA and its operating companies by providing a best-in-class IT service and then go beyond, innovating in a highly regulated environment. With around £100 million invested each year in research and development, you’ll work with emerging technologies and diverse stakeholders to solve real-world challenges.

Imagine architecting systems that record and catalogue radioactive waste for centuries, coding specialist software to pilot robots in inaccessible hazard zones or collaborating with our AI teams at the frontier of technology. A DDaT role here offers the variety to shape groundbreaking solutions while rapidly building your technical expertise and stakeholder-management skills.

Recent graduates have had a variety of fantastic opportunities to develop their industry skills and technical competencies. They built document intelligence models to automate data extraction; conducted AI analyses to optimise operations; leveraged data analytics to reveal actionable insights; wrote assurance reports that demonstrated regulatory compliance; rapidly prototyped AI solutions to accelerate proof-of-concepts; led large-scale website migrations to modernise digital platforms; and developed Power App solutions to streamline critical processes across multiple nuclear sites. These experiences are not exhaustive but give a glimpse into what exciting prospects await in this Graduate Scheme.

We are looking for individuals who can thrive in both collaborative and technical environments. If you have a demonstrable set of technical skills and a passion for the nuclear sector, we highly encourage you to apply.
