Executive - Financial PR Agency

The role will involve supporting the Cardew Group team in London, and will give executives exposure to how a strategic communications agency operates, and a grounding in the skills required of an account executive, including:

• how to coordinate PR programmes to support clients’ business objectives

• researching and analysing relevant media coverage and share price information for clients and relevant peers

• a working understanding of how press releases and stock exchange announcements are drafted

• carrying out background research and preparing documents

• monitoring media comment consistently and intelligently

• preparing and organising stakeholder meetings and conference calls 

• helping to compile equity analyst feedback reports

We would like candidates to have the following – but remember that potential will trump experience so don’t be put off if not all of these apply to you:

• interest in the media, business and public affairs

• social and online media knowledge

• strong analytical and administrative capabilities

• excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal

• very high standards of organisation and attention to detail

• an instinctive awareness of when to refer to others, showing good judgement

• an enthusiastic and proactive disposition

• a desire to learn

• a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

• eligibility to work in the UK at the point at which the role commences
