About Montagu Evans
Montagu Evans is an independent property consultancy with a longstanding reputation for providing tailored advice across the real estate lifecycle. We work collaboratively across planning, development, valuation, investment, and property management to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients. Our people-first culture values curiosity, integrity, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join our Finance team and gain hands-on experience across a broad range of financial functions within a leading property consultancy. This generalist role is ideal for someone looking to develop a strong foundation in corporate finance, management accounting, and financial operations while contributing to meaningful commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Intern, you will support the team with essential day-to-day finance tasks, including basic data entry, invoice processing, reconciling financial information, maintaining spreadsheets, and assisting with monthly reporting routines. You will help ensure financial records are accurate, organised, and up to date, while also supporting ad hoc administrative duties and simple analysis to aid the wider Finance team. This role offers exposure to core financial operations and the opportunity to learn how a professional services finance function works.
Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For
- Strong numerical skills with an interest in finance, accounting, or commercial real estate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to collaborate.
- Organised, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Prior internship or relevant experience is beneficial but not required.
What You’ll Gain
- Hands-on experience across a range of finance functions within a respected consultancy.
Note: We may close this vacancy ahead of the advertised deadline if we receive a large volume of applications.
