Lazard is the world’s largest independent financial advisory firm, built over generations on a foundation of client service. This rich history and wide-ranging experience, combined with bespoke training and an ongoing commitment to development, makes it the perfect place to start and develop your career.

Analysts are a key contributor in all aspects of our advisory work. You’ll be a strategist, a relationship-builder, and an innovator.

As part of a diverse team, you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with senior and junior colleagues on transactions for high-profile global clients. Immersed in our small team culture, you’ll experience first-hand what it means to be truly involved in some of the most complex and transformational deals in the market. This experience will be invaluable during your early years at Lazard.

You will be supporting our transaction teams by:

  • Conducting financial analysis, statistical analysis, and modelling
  • Conducting company and industry sector research
  • Creating client presentations and marketing materials
  • Interacting with senior colleagues and clients

Analysts are assigned to a sector or product team according to their team preference and business need at the time of joining.

As part of your ongoing development, you will have the opportunity to attend technical and business skills courses regularly, alongside other European colleagues. Analysts are expected to complete the compulsory Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulatory exams before starting with their teams.

Whatever subject you’re reading, all you need right now is a passion and flair for thinking differently and deeply about the challenge in front of you.

Whether you realise it or not, you’ve already got the skills we’re looking for.
