Internship

Position

As FP&A Analyst Intern, you support the Business Controller and Controlling Director in understanding and evaluating financial performance of the business with a focus on overhead, cash, and capex.

You coordinate with market finance team to consolidate market insights and management information for decision making.

Job Responsibilities

REGIONAL CASH REPORTING CONSOLIDATION

  • Lead the regional preparation of cash reports for actual and forecast phase,
  • Improve ways of working to establish cash reports, optimize the data modeling, and support markets with templates,
  • Understand and challenge markets analysis and ensure respect of deadlines,
  • Present to the Controlling Director and CFO the cash reports, explain main variances, and suggest action plans if necessary.

DSO/CAPEX CONSOLIDATION & ANALYSIS

  • Lead the DSO reporting process across the region (actual and budget) and prepare a summary of key impacts,
  • Consolidate CAPEX (investments) reporting for the region and ensure consistency with balance sheet reported by markets,
  • Coordinate with transversal activities (such as Retail, IT, GTR…).

Other Responsibilities

  • Animate the EMEA Accounting community, develop their talents and build a platform for sharing,
  • Be an active member of the regional Finance team by sharing results and insights on a regular basis,
  • Provide adhoc analysis of other Accounting related topics.

Profile

Professional experience & Skills:

  • 2 yrs+ of Accounting experience with solid financial analysis background,
  • Ideally a candidate with working experience in an Accounting firm and/or pursuing an Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA),
  • Advanced knowledge of finance & accounting principles (such as P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) combined with good commercial acumen,
  • International mindset, with experience in a large Group as an advantage,
  • Strong analytical skills, with accuracy and attention to detail,
  • Action and result oriented, driving for improved performance,
  • Good organisation & planning,
  • IT literacy (SAP, Hyperion-Essbase, PowerBI, MS Office).

Languages

  • Fluency in English,
  • Another European language a plus.

Additional Information

This is a 1-year internship contract.
