Who we are

Impact Student Partners is part of Commercial Services Group (CSG), the UK’s largest local authority owned trading company. Impact Student Partners specialises in placing tutors, mentors, and specialist support workers into higher education settings, helping students with disabilities succeed at university. As a CSG business, our commercial success directly supports social value and reinvestment into public services.

While previous recruitment experience is not required, an interest in recruitment and a desire to develop commercial skills is essential.

What you’ll be doing

  • Engaging with students to understand their needs and preferences
  • Sourcing, screening and onboarding tutors, mentors and specialist support workers
  • Managing a portfolio of students and candidates, ensuring ongoing engagement and aftercare
  • Matching students with suitable support workers based on needs, availability and preferences
  • Communicating clearly and consistently with students, candidates and clients
  • Ensuring all recruitment activity meets compliance, safeguarding and GDPR standards
  • Supporting the growth of services through excellent account management and delivery

What we’re looking for

  • A recent graduate
  • Experience in a customer service or office‑based environment
  • A genuine interest in recruitment and relationship‑based roles
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Confidence handling sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy
  • Good IT skills and the ability to learn recruitment or CRM systems
  • A proactive, driven approach with a desire to make a positive impact

What you’ll get in return

  • Salary of £28,000 per annum + commission
  • 25 days annual leave, plus your birthday off
  • Life assurance cover (4x salary)
  • Pension scheme with 4% employer contribution
  • Additional benefits including retail and gym discounts, health cash plan and cycle to work scheme
  • Volunteer days and access to a comprehensive wellbeing programme
  • Tailored learning and development support with real opportunities to progress
