About the job
the7stars is the UK's largest independent media agency, offering the best people, the best service and the most creative media campaigns. Our clients include Admiral, The Financial Times, Gousto, Iceland and The Postcode Lottery.
Since our inception in 2005, we set out on a mission – to inspire the exceptional and defeat the bad and the boring. By championing transparency, our goal was to deliver award-winning work for clients across all sectors, whilst fostering a truly vibrant and inclusive culture that welcomes the best industry talent from all walks of life.
20 years on, we have achieved all of this and more. We have graced The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work list for thirteen consecutive years, whilst also being crowned Campaign's Best Place to Work on three occasions. Our work has garnered acclaim from the likes of IPA, WARC, Effie, Media Week, Thinkbox, Campaign Magazine, The Drum, AdWeek, and more. We have continued to grow our agency every single year, delivered show-stopping work for our clients, and have consistently delivered exceptional media value.
The Role
We are looking for a talented Graduate Analyst to join our Analytics team at the7stars, the UK's largest independent media agency. From day one, the successful candidate will experience real variety, meaningful responsibility and exposure to senior clients, working alongside analysts whose work helps shape how some of the country's most ambitious brands invest and grow.
Day to day, you will help build the evidence base that underpins client decision-making, providing rigorous analysis to understand what drives marketing performance and, crucially, where future growth will come from. This includes working with econometrics, structured experimentation and attribution modelling to evaluate effectiveness and inform change. As a self-starting and transparent agency, we pride ourselves on challenging assumptions and championing growth through evidence rather than opinion. The Analytics team at the7stars is award-winning and recognised for industry-leading standards in effectiveness, having been one of the first agencies to receive the IPA's Effectiveness Accreditation.
Requirements
We're looking for curious, motivated self-starters with an appetite to learn. Whilst no prior agency or analytics experience is required, we are interested in candidates who demonstrate the following skills and characteristics:
- Relentless intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand why marketing works, not just what happened.
- A proactive mindset, with the confidence to identify problems, explore possible solutions and ask the right questions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate data and insights clearly through structured analysis and visualisation (these will be assessed at interview).
- A solutions-first approach, comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment with direct client interaction.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities whilst maintaining high analytical standards.
- Clear, confident communication skills and an appetite for working closely with colleagues and clients.
The successful candidate is likely to demonstrate some of the following:
- An undergraduate degree in Economics, Business, Marketing or a STEM subject (though this is not a prerequisite).
- Exposure to quantitative or multifactor analysis, with or without econometric or other statistical techniques.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- An interest in coding, scripting or automation, and how tools and technology can improve analytical efficiency.
What we provide
From day one, you'll be treated as a full employee with benefits including:
- £29,000 salary
- 6-month probation/onboarding
- Continuous training
- Benefits package including:
- Uncounted holiday
- Gym membership
- Free breakfast
- Health insurance
the7stars is committed to creating a diverse environment, where employees feel empowered to share different ideas, perspectives and experiences in a collaborative and creative work environment. Equality and inclusion are at the heart of our culture. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race (which includes colour, nationality and ethnic or national origins), religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
