Job Description

About this Opportunity

We are looking for a Portfolio Analyst to join Lloyds Living's Portfolio team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in real estate, asset management, and/or property management.

Working across one of the UK's growing Build-to-Rent and Single Family Rental portfolios, you will support portfolio performance, business planning, budgeting, mobilisation, and strategic decision-making. You'll work closely with our Asset Management, Property Management, Finance, and Investment teams, gaining exposure to the commercial and operational drivers of a large-scale residential portfolio.

Whilst the role will initially involve supporting the coordination and day-to-day management of the portfolio, we are committed to providing increasing exposure to analytical and strategic projects as your knowledge and experience develop.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the day-to-day management of our national BTR & SFR portfolio.
  • Coordinating key portfolio reporting, governance forums, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring actions, information, and outputs are tracked effectively.
  • Maintaining portfolio data, records, and management information to support accurate reporting and decision-making.
  • Analysing operational and financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and management information for senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting annual business planning, budgeting, and rent-setting processes.
  • Monitoring leasing, occupancy, arrears, income, and cost performance across the portfolio.
  • Supporting the mobilisation of new assets and portfolios into the business.
  • Assisting with portfolio reviews and valuation processes.
  • Conducting market research and analysing competitor performance and sector trends.
  • Building relationships with internal teams and managing agents.
  • Supporting day-to-day operational activities required to ensure the portfolio is managed effectively and performs in line with business objectives.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree (or expected degree) in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Mathematics or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, or a willingness to develop them quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise multiple workstreams.
  • Naturally curious, commercially minded, and eager to learn.
  • A genuine interest in real estate and asset management.
