Cycle Company:

Cycle Pharmaceuticals Ltd

Position Summary:

This is a full-time position within the clinical team working in our Cambridge office on a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days in the office).

We have an exciting opportunity within our Clinical Operations team, for a Graduate Clinical Operations Associate to join our Pioneer Graduate Programme. This opportunity will provide hands-on operational support to late-stage (Phase 3) clinical trials, with an initial focus on our metabolic programmes following the acquisition of Applied Therapeutics. This role sits at the heart of ensuring the trials are well-coordinated, inspection-ready and delivered in line with timelines and regulatory expectations.

From day one, you'll build the systems that ensure that the trials are on track and will be the go-to for operational detail. If you're ambitious, curious, and excited by the chance to make a genuine impact while accelerating your professional development, then this role is the perfect opportunity to grow with us as we continue to expand our business.

Our Company

At Cycle, we believe that Every Single Patient Matters. This is at the heart of why we work and we're looking for people to join our team who share our vision. We know that life-changing treatments need life-improving product support to match, because when you put the two together, great things can happen.

Our growing portfolio now covers products across oncology, rare metabolic, immunology and genetic conditions where we improve existing drugs, repurpose them for new uses and bring generics back to market. Using cutting-edge drug delivery technologies, we enhance the efficiency of treatments, offering patients greater freedom and choice.

Headquartered in Cambridge, UK, with a significant US presence, Cycle Pharma has scaled rapidly and was named one of the UK’s fastest-growing private companies by The Sunday Times (Sunday Times 100 2024 & Sunday Times 100 Tech 2025).

  • Support the set-up, maintenance and quality of the Trial Master File, ensuring inspection readiness.
  • Coordinate trial team meetings, preparing agendas, minutes and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Support and close-out activities, escalating any issues or risks as and when needed.
  • Build relationships with CROs, vendors and internal teams, to support doc collection, tracking and query resolution.
  • Work in line with GCP (Good Clinical Practice), internal SOPs (Standard operating procedures) and Clinical Operations processes.
  • Contribute to improving Clinical Operations tools, trackers and suggestions for improvements.
  • Actively participate in the Pioneer Programme development activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with documents, trackers and structured processes.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities with support and guidance.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a regulated clinical environment.
  • Comfortable working with data and standard business tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools).
  • Proactive, reliable and comfortable taking ownership of defined tasks.

Desirable, But Not Essential:

  • Master’s or PhD in life sciences or related discipline
  • Exposure to clinical research through an internship, placement, CRO/site work or relevant academic project.
